This pistol is an excellent size and the trigger is fantastic (if one likes DA triggers). However, the magazine design is just bad and Kahr hasn't fixed it in 20 years. The magazines are hard to load, have extremely sharp feed lips, and tend to bleed rounds if not carried in a magazine carrier. This gun is long overdue for a magazine upgrade. Other than that it is a solid pistol.

The quality of this Kahr firearm appears good. It is very difficult/impossible to hand load the magazine to full capacity however. In my opinion, it should be easier. It was bought for home defense. I am impressed with the Bud's user friendly on line purchasing though.

Ihave shot well over 3500 rounds in this gun so far, so I would have to say its as reliable as any gun out there.good gun for the price.

Had this several months now and so far so good! I'm not at the 200 round break in period yet but confident enough to carry it some anyway! I have several other Kahr's and I'm very pleased! Thanks Bud's!!

I finally bought my first Kahr. I always wanted a Kahr because they are slim and have a smooth trigger. The trigger is similar to very light weight double action pull of a revolver. I dislike small handguns. I purchased the CT9 because it had a four inch barrel and a full grip. I am not a fan of the slide rails. When you get tired firing over 260 rounds through one magazine, you will have to spend 36-51 dollars for a second magazine and so on. This gun is very fun to shoot one handed. First 200 rounds shot flawlessly. After 200 rounds, I ran the handgun dirty and experienced FTEs. The FTEs may be due to a bad 50 round box of Perfecta where there were over charged cartridges and under charged loads. Also shot Federal Aluminium and Winchester. Purchased as a potential candidate for CCW. I recommend keeping the magazine loaded for a day or two, while keeping it in a safe place before your first range visit. The spring is very strong. The first CT9 was so good, I bought another. First shoot tonite after a quick breakdown and cleaning. 200 rounds of whitebox = ZERO problems. You can't beat Bud's service or this CCW 9mm. Oh and if Kahr would extend the free magazine promo, I would buy a CM45 today. OK, I'll probably buy anyway. Made in America!

Nice looking firearm. I have previous experience with the Kahr PM9. The PM9 is a great and accurate 9mm "pocket pistol". I am sure the CT9 will be just as good.

Bought this late last year for a bit more than current pricing. At this current price it is a steal! If you are familiar with the Kahr trigger you know what an excellent smooth feel it it. The CT9 is no exception. It is probably the softest shooting 9mm I have i ever fired. Accurate and eats everything I feed it. Buds is great to work with and I already have another Kahr on the way to me. Buy with confidence from Bud's!

This is, I believe, the 4th handgun or long gun I have ordered from Bud's and, as has been the case every time, the price, the fast shipping, and no hassle approach that Bud's offers has been first rate. My order this time was for a KAHR CT9. From order to delivery to my FFL was one week, during the Christmas shipping season no less. I am very happy with my purchase as well as the price point offered by Bud's. Not the first Kahr pistol I've owned, and this gun is just as great as the others I've had over the years. Smooth trigger, low recoil, easy to aim, and even with the 8 round magazine (not 7 as the listing indicates) it's still just small enough to carry concealed, at least for me. Love it!

This firearm delivers on all fronts : easy to manage, great sights and dead on accuracy. The product is well crafted and extends interest to would-be buyers who, at one time, found any Kahr out of reach. This represents a high quality firearm at a 1980's price. Compared to other sizes in the Kahr line, this can be utilized as a carry personal defender. If one travels light, one travels right. Before range visit generating 200 event free rounds of bliss, I followed the video recommending around 300 slide racks to loosen up a very tight new gun. It worked! BTW, within 3 business days of receiving my money order, Buds shipped the product quickly. The Kahr mag arrived 10 days from purchase. This product receives praise in the form of a full five star rating.

jam jam jam... I bought 2 of these after buying a ct45. The 45 is great. These however are not in the same class. I tried shooting 6 different brands and only good ammo 1 will not shoot at all. ftf,like crazy and light strikes. sent it to kahr they said it was all good. Appearantly not so. The other will only shoot p ammo. That's a lot of recoil with that type of ammo. That's ok if you never plan on shooting at the range. I bought the lifetime service policy from buds and they told me that it only kicked in after the manufacturers warranty which is 5 yrs.

After carrying a CM9 for the last 2 years when I saw this gun at the NRA convention last spring I knew I had to have one. When I saw the introductory price and the offer of a free second magazine it was a no-brainer. I've put around 250 rnds through it without a hiccup of any sort. Most of those were my handloads-115 and 124 grn hardball, Speer gold dots, Hornady XTP's, Zero's, Remington, loaded mild to wild. Just like the CM9, it eats anything. Highly recommended.

Had my eye on a Kahr for a while, was looking at the CW9 but held one and it was a little small for my hand. When I saw that they were coming out with a budget line full size, I was pretty sold, when I saw the price and the rebate offer for an extra magazine, I was completely sold. Bud's was awesome, I elected to use the ACH payment method and it took exactly 5 days true to their note, after that it took 2 days to get to my FFL. After I mailed in the rebate, Kahr sent me my extra mag in a week. Now for the gun, it feels amazing. It has good balance and really good fit and tightness, so tight in fact, some plastic will be shaved off of the internal slide rail during the break in period. The trigger is long, but my god is it sweet and smooth. Straight buttery smooth, a gun of this price should not be allowed to have a trigger this smooth. The gun is very light as well, but not so light that it hinders the accuracy, in fact, it's accuracy completely caught me off guard. The sights are set up well and it is really easy to get a good sight picture quickly. I was shooting nice tight groups after I got used to the DAO trigger. Night Sights can be purchased for this gun but I am satisfied with the white outline non-adjustable that come stock. If you have larger hands and want a nice budget friendly carry or truck gun, this gun is great. Also, I have been having trouble with the quality and ejecting of Winchester White Box lately and this gun absolutely swallowed them while my Glock and 1911 were throwing fits over them. Overall, I consider this gun one of the best buys for the money I have encountered. I have many pistols and I trust this one as much as I do any other, and it is one of the most fun to shoot.
