Is a 9mm compact pistol it shoots and is accurate is just to bulky on the pistol grip and the trigger 1 out 10 is a 4 (sorry)

Out of the box it's accurate so far no jams or stovepipes

A very nice everyday carry piece for the price. Think I paid around $200.00 or so. Does well on the range, no jams, no problems. Would be a great choice to keep in the glove box. Trigger resembles an LCP style.

Smooth compact handgun. Raffled it for a benefit drawing. Have one of my own as a carry. Wouldn't be without it. Company easy to talk with.

I bought this SCCY CPX2 as a concealed carry option. I have worn it on a belly band while jogging, in an ankle holster, and my wife has even carried it in a purse holster. It shoots great and we haven't had any malfunctions. If you're looking for a great value, don't pass up SCCY.

I have had this handgun for a few years now, and it has definitely impressed me! Great price point for beginners and good quality with many cool colors. AS Advertised - no misfires - no problems. Excellent carry 9mm. Very smooth for a double action pistol and easy to sight downrange for follow up shots. One magazine of practice and you will have high confidence when carrying. Very good quality look and feels solid. I never thought I would buy and feel confident in a $200 gun. I did and I do - highly recommended.

Love the way it fits and feels in my hand. fired 50 rounds through it after purchase, cycled the rounds perfectly. Trigger is a long pull but not a problem, accuracy is typical with a sub-compact. Good personal defense gun. It’s my favorite carry gun now.

I got this gun to use for concealed carry because of its lightweight and good capacity. But I took it to the range, and it would not fully cycle a round after firing. The slide would not go back into batter almost every time, even with me using good ammo. Also, the trigger is terrible. You have to completely let off the trigger in order for it to reset again, which is not good in a self defense situation where quick follow up shots may be needed. I would highly advise against this gun because even though the price is good, spend a little more to get a lot more.

Super accurate....feeds well with good ammo...has a solid feel and good contour....

With a little trigger work one of the best EDC. It is a little wide but it is double stack.

The Sccy CPX-2 purchased a little over a year ago is a nice small compact pistol that I had high hopes for. I have been able to take it to the range a few times and after approx 100 rounds of various ammo I am not pleased. This pistol fails to feed about 30% of the time. It doesn't matter what brand of ammo or bullet configuration it just fails to feed. The feed ramp is not very smooth at all and may be the issue. Also have had a few failures to extract as well. Accuracy when it fires is sub par. I guess you get what you pay for. I will be sending this pistol to Sccy for repairs as they are supposed to have a good warranty. Buds was awesome as usual.

For the money, you can't really go wrong with this. While I've seen the horror stories/videos online I've found them to be over blown and/or likely rare. I will agree that the magazines need break in (a big factor in early issues) as well as the pistol needing a good 100-200 to break in. Reliability is not great, but its good. Doesn't feed everything reliably, but that's your job, get out there, find what it runs well, and then practice with and use that. Some simple work will also bring this up to par with little effort. Service from Buds as always, great.

I did a fair amount of research before choosing the SCCY CPX-2 as my next concealed carry pistol. The purchase price played a large role in my final decision. I read every review I could find from verified owners and the various guns & ammo review sites. Ultimately it came down to the SW M&P, Walther Creed, Ruger Security 9 and the Bersa Thunder Pro Ultra Compact. I needed something size wise that was between my Ruger P94 and Ruger LCP. All of the review sites give a pretty fair and accurate overview of the pros and cons of this pistol, so there's no reason to rehash all of those. IMHO size and weight of the CPX-2 are ideal for a true concealed carry 9MM pistol. Trigger pull is long and heavy (but I'm used to that considering the other pistols I own are equal to or worse). However, within my first 20 shots I was reliably putting rounds into a 6" circle at 10 yards. The rear sight windage was right on for me and didn't require any adjustment out of the box. I've put about 50 rounds through the pistol and haven't experienced a single jam, failure to load or failure to fire. I tried all three ammo brands that I normally use in the P94. Namely Federal, PMC and Remington. Hollow point as well as practice rounds. Towards the end of my second 25 round session, my group started drifting to the left as a little fatigue, cold air and break over anticipation set in. The CPX-2 fits my hand fine as long as I'm using the "pinky" hook on the magazine. I tried the included flat plate, but the pistol feels better in my grip hand when using the extender. Recoil is acceptable for a pistol the size, weight and caliber of the CPX-2. Fit and finish are more than adequate considering the purchase price. Field stripping for cleaning gets an A . Easy take down and reassembly. All you need is a dime, a screw driver or spent casing shell to pop out the take down pin. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and have found myself actually carrying more often now. Whether it's in my bag, glove box or holster this pistol is actually getting carried. My only real complaint is magazine loading. Both of the included mags like to fight you when getting more than five rounds in the magazine. There is a lot of spring pressure and it feels kind of "gritty" if that makes sense. This is the first new pistol I've purchased in about five years, so maybe I've just forgotten what it feels like to load a brand new magazine....... I'm figuring over time the magazines will loosen up and bit and everything will be golden.

I am very blessed to have many wonderful handguns; Glock, Smith and Wesson, and Wilson Combat, to name a few. All very nice reliable accurate competition and defence guns. If they were not, I would sell them and get something else. So why would I ever use or carry a much less expensive handgun like a SCCY? Well that’s easy, because it works! I have tested them extensively for the past six months as a defensive gun and a teaching tool for firearms instruction. Truth be told; I carry a Shield, primarily, but I would not be afraid to carry this pistol!

First impression, quality is far above price. The double stack grip gives this pistol the feel of a compact pistol in a subcompact package. Went to the range and this gun ate all the blazer brass and hornady critical defense I fed it. No long term review yet but initial impressions are that this gun is way under priced foe the quality.

Terrific Bang for your Buck! The SCCY CPX-2 is well engineered, precision manufacturing, and a pleasure to shoot. Used two different brands of ammo during test firing and the firearm performed flawlessly. Excellent gun for concealed carry or packed in a bug out bag for emergency evacuation. If you want a high quality, sub-compact 9mm pistol, then the SCCY CPX-2 is a perfect fit and budget friendly. I can't over-state how well made this pistol is. What a bargain for the consumer!
