Purchased Gun for my Son. We hunt Il. slugs only. Good shooting Gun. My Son can Shoot Bulls Eye out of target at 50 to 75 yards. That is using Rem Sluggers and they are cheap. I am going to purchase one for myself as soon as Buds has them in stock. Great slug gun.

It's a nice compact gun BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT I can't find a sabot that will shoot out of it. At 75 yards we are talking 8" to 12" groups. Could be this gun. Most Remington's that I've owned have shot well but not this one. Putting it away until after hunting season. Will try a couple more sabots but if it doesn't work out hi ho hi ho to the used rack it will go. By the way sabots aren't cheap. I'd suggest that you look at the Savage 20 Slug Warrior. I sold the 12ga one for this gun then the 20 Savage came out. My luck. The Savages shoot but the 12ga with 3"mags just kinked the snot out of me. Getting too old for this crud. As for the 870 pump part of it, the Expresses aren't WingMasters. It's rough but functions. I'd give it a 3 out of 10.
