Remington 870 Express 12 28 Rem-Choke Mod Wood
[5568]
$335.00
by Jacob W Date Added: Monday 01 April, 2013
870 Express: The firearm came in a Remington cardboard and styrofoam case. It was clearly new and in good overall shape. Being unfamiliar with this shotgun, however, I asked the FFL dealer to check over the gun for quality, which revealed no problems. I took it out to the range the next day and shot 150 rounds with no problems. If you are thinking of getting the 870 Express or Wingmaster, the Express is a fine option to start on.

Note: I also bought a Remington Case (~$35) and a cleaning kit (~$20), which have thus far served the product well.

Bud's Service: I bought the 870 Express on a Monday via e-check and was able to pick it up Friday of the next week, which in my opinion is a fine time-period to wait. Several online forums have noted poor service with Bud's, but I believe that opinion is more representative of the massive quantities of products the company has been shipping since late 2012, and less representative of the business in general. You should note that the company will delay your shipment a few days if you pay by check, but if you can stand to wait a week or so then that is not an undue delay.
