It is a Remington 870 in twelve gauge-it is just what I knew I would get (again). As I keep passing them down to sons, grandsons, nephews and such I needed to get one for myself--again. I took this piece and my grandson to the range and fired off dove loads and #4 buck without a hiccup. Fit and finish is just fine, action smooth. While I love good wood on my long guns these composition stocks are forgiving. With so many of the great brand names failing I am pleased to see the Remington 870 going strong.
