I was wanting to know how accurate this rifle is and what is gas length and does it shout the steel and Russian ammo ok are do you have to have US. ammo for this rifle to work well?

It should shoot both ammos fine and it has a mid-length gas system. SPECS - Rock River Arms tan X-1 rifle comes out of the box without any changes needed to be made. This rifle has a custom Operator Carbine Stock, Hogue grip, two stage trigger, winter trigger guard, low profile gas block, 18 inch fluted barrel, Hunter muzzle brake, and a Tro-XL free float rail. This tactical 7.62x39 caliber rifle comes in a Rock River Arms Case with one magazine, LPS-1 weapon wipe, manual, and warranty. Its is optic ready for the shooters choice. Mid-LLength Gas System and 1.5moa with brass cased 7.62x39. Cheaper steel cased will yield any where from 2 to 2.75moa if you are a decent shooter. Hornady Steel Cased Ballistic tips will be one of the most accurate loads as well.
