What's unique about this gun that I'm missing that makes it cost twice the price of other Hi-Points?

Nothing different I checked other sites and I would say its a glitch in the Buds pricing software if you are interested in the gun I would customer service (859) 368-0371 9am-9pm mon-fri or use the blue Chat Now button and let them know that its price is out of line with other online retailers we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

Hi Dale, Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular items get low in stock. You might Call for a more detailed answer in case it is a mistake. Customer service (859) 368-0371 9am-9pm mon-fri or use the blue Chat Now button

Normally prices jump when stock gets critically low Dale. There are 74 in stock now and other vendors price for the same pistol averages $155. It may be a pricing discrepancy on Buds part. You can call customer service (859) 368-0371 9am-9pm mon-fri to see what Buds has to say. Example : https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/752334340108?upc_only=1&view=list

I just asked the online chat the same question. They are sending it to their marketing dept. to check on it . I too was surprised by the roughly $140 price jump overnight . That's more than the carbine in that caliber. Don't think they'll be selling a lot of them at that price.
