Where are these made?
Unless it's really old stock it's made in the US. I haven't seen any Brazilian ones in a few years. The easiest way to tell is by removing the slide and seeing if the ejector is held in by a pin that goes through the frame or if the pin is not present and it's loctited in. The pinned ones are from Brazil and the loctited ones are US.
it could be either Made and assembled in Brazil or made in Brazil and assembled in Geneseo IL USA the only way to tell is by the S/N NXXXXXX = Brazil S/N NMxxxxxx = assembled in Geneseo IL Buds will not give out S/Ns it is luck of the draw but either place is a quality 1911 so no worries there
