Can I shoot Hard Cast lead rounds through a Glock 20 without any harm to weapon or warranty?
Many people have damaged or blown up Glocks over the years with cast bullets. Problem is the "experts" that have gotten away with it for years do not have pressure test equipment available so they really do not know how close they are to flirting with disaster. Glock says no so I would do what myself and other competitive shooters do. Get an aftermarket barrel with standard rifling to shoot cast bullets.
Hi Douglas, You can but I wouldn't do it since Glock ultimately maintains your warranty and will have the last word, I would ask Glock directly at Phone: 770-432-1202 or via email inquiry at : https://us.glock.com/customer-service/contact-us

Douglas, I own a Glock 20 and have shot cases of Doubletap 200gr Hard Cast loads for years with no ill effects. That said, Glock shuns away from firing "Lead" Bullets from their polygonal rifled barrels. Since Glock ultimately maintains your warranty and will have the last word, I would ask Glock directly at Phone: 770-432-1202 or via email inquiry at : https://us.glock.com/customer-service/contact-us
