If you live in Kentucky, or pick it up in a Kentucky store (tourist buying long guns), you will have to pay tax. Otherwise there is no tax for online sales out of state.

The only time Bud's charges sales tax is if you live in Kentucky where they have their business. If you live outside of Kentucky, it is your responsibility to inform and send in any state sales taxes due if your state requires you to do so. An FFL will not charge sales tax on a purchase when transferred through them.

No, buds will not charge tax. I know here in CA my FFL charges the tax. Most other states, the FFL only charges a transfer fee, no tax.

It is a question of your State Law. Bud's only charges for sales in State. You need to speak with your FFL for a good answer.
