Compared to Bodyguard 380 how easy is it to rack the action of the Ruger LCP II
being smaller it slightly harder to rack
Joey - One thing to remember is that all of these smaller pistols will get somewhat easier to rack the slide after firing several rounds - they loosen up just a bit, and the springs get 'broken in'.
Joey the Ruger is actually slightly harder to rack than the Body Guard. Both are stiff. I actually went with the tons easier to load/rack 380 EZ for my wife and she loves it : budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/101525/smith+%26+wesson+m%26p+shield+380+ez+8%2b1
Joey - I've owned both and they are pretty much the same, as far as racking the slide.

A little harder, the Smith has a little more to get a hold of but it wasn't a problem racking the LCP.
