  • Daniel - avoid shooting a slug in a full or extra full choke shotgun, period. It is a safety hazard. Modified chokes are "OK" .. Open/imp cyl chokes are great.

  • For the most part, yes. Rifled slugs are meant to be stablized out of any smoothbore shotguns. They should function just fine as long as you don't have a full choke on your shotgun.

  • Daniel, yes you can for "Modified" or lessor choked shotguns. It is a general rule of thumb to avoid shooting slugs through "Full" Choked shotguns.
