Springfield Armory Loaded M1A Semi Auto Rifle .308 Win/7.62 NATO
Can 7.62 x 51 ammo be shot through this rifle? Or is it strictly .308 Winchester ammo only?

Luis, yes, 7.62x51 can absolutely be fired through this rifle Sir. No issues.

Yes sir, the rifle is built to handle .308, which is a bit more powerful than 7.62X51, so you can shoot the 7.62 with confidence.

Yes 7.62x51 is safe to use in this rifle as per Springfield website. I have one as well that I regularly use milsurp 7.62x51 in. Great platform.
