Should you add a 'stock' ( any device designed to use for shouldering a firearm when shooting) you would be creating a short barreled rifle, which without the ATF's approval and $200 tax stamp, is a felony. Bryson, no Sir. Unfortunately the addition of a grip other than the Pistol Grip will change the Classification to an AOW "Any Other Weapon" from a Pistol and will require $200 Tax Stamp and NFA Registration.
