Bryson, no Sir. Unfortunately the addition of a grip other than the Pistol Grip will change the Classification to an AOW "Any Other Weapon" from a Pistol and will require $200 Tax Stamp and NFA Registration.

No, It would not without being registered as an NFA "SBR" Short Barreled Rifle Ricky. A $200 Tax Stamp would be required. You could add a telescoping brace such as ar15.com/forums/armory/New-MPX-Brace/45-470072/

Bryson - you could add a "brace", which would maintain this firearm's status as a pistol/handgun. Should you add a 'stock' ( any device designed to use for shouldering a firearm when shooting) you would be creating a short barreled rifle, which without the ATF's approval and $200 tax stamp, is a felony. There are many very cool braces on the market these days. Stay legal, and get yourself one of those. Such as this one: sb-tactical.com/product/sba3/
