Does this rifle had adequate clearance for the bolt handle to use a 30 mm rifle scope? The Ruger 77/44 bolt handle will barely clear a 1" scope tube. Thanks.

Stanley, the Hawkeye has Patented integral scope mounts machined directly on the solid steel receiver but, probably ships with 1 inch Rings for a specific reason. Ruger would probably be the best source for info on 30mm Ring clearance at Telephone: 336-949-5200 (Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm ET).
