Ruger, this firearm is chambered to fire 22Long Rifle Ammunition only. Hollow Point 22LR are no problem. Magnum rounds will not fit in the chamber as pictured here : activeresponsetraining.net/what-about-the-22-magnum

Carl, hollow points-Yes, magnums-No.

This'll fire hollow point no problem but 22 winchester Magnum (22WMR) rounds will NOT work in this gun as the Magnum rounds are a larger diameter and will not fit in the chamber.
You can fire CCI Mini mags in this pistol and they will run and perform fantastic.
