What does “commercial” mean?
August, Commercial simply means a firearm or accessory was designed for civilians as opposed to Military Specifications. Mil-Spec firearms are usually more robust in the durability dept. compared to their Commercial counterparts. I.E higher round count durability testing, higher pressure ammunition capability etc. Cheers and stay safe!
It pretty much means meant for general population and not military. Government models differ from commercial/citizens models. Hope this helps.
As a whole our 4+ million customer's know more about firearms than we do. If you have a general question about a product we highly recommend that you first try out our customer Q&A feature. More often than not you will receive multiple answers to your question in minutes.
