Savage 6.5X28 Norma Bench Rest/1-8 Twist/Left Load/Right Eje
Is this truly a 1:8 twist barrel?
I see listings at others dealers showing a 1:12 twist rate.
I am looking for the 1:8 twist barrel for ELR distances not bench rest shooting.

I just looked on 6 different websites and literally all 6 of them show this as a 1:12.
My search was based off the upc which is going to give results for the exact product.

Richard, yes Sir. This model has a 29" free-float, button-rifled, extra heavy barrel with a 1:8" twist rate. Cheers and stay safe!

Richard, The 6.5 x 284 Norma and the 6mm Norma BR are a 1 in 8 twist, and the 308 Winchester is in a 1 in 12 twist. Have a great day!
