Scott, yes as others have stated this will take higher capacity magazines no problem. This just includes a pinned 10 round magazine for states with magazine capacity restrictions. It's the same size as the standard capacity magazine it's just pinned. Hope this helps.

Scott, yes Sir, most manufacturers including H&K make firearms packages with 10rd magazines so they can be sold in capacity restricted States without hassle. The Firearm itself is identical in both packages and either firearm will accept either capacity magazine no issue. Cheers and stay safe!
