  • Ronald, I always do out of courtesy so my FFL know I have an incoming package. It is not absolutely necessary as Buds sends all your contact information for your selected FFL to contact you upon receipt of your firearm. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Ronald, you don't have to but it's a good idea to so there's no surprises. Buds adds your phone number so they can contact you when it's delivered but not all FFL dealers will contact you when it's delivered. It's up to you if you do or not. Hope this helps.

  • Ronald, even if they are on Bud's preferred list of FFL's, it is a good idea to contact them. Not only is it a courtesy & gives them a head's up you have a firearm coming, but what if something happened since Bud's list was last updated? Example - he is no longer doing outside transfers, he is on vacation, he went out of business. This last one has happened before. So unless you deal with the FFL on a regular basis, give him a call, then there will be no surprises. Good luck.
