yes it is legal in CT there are no restrictions on Bolt action rifles budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/connecticut_restrictions.pdf The following are prohibited:
✘Semi-automatic, centerfire rifle that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has
at least one of the following:
1. A folding or telescoping stock
2. Any grip of the weapon, including a pistol grip, a thumbhole stock, or any other
stock, the use of which would allow an individual to grip the weapon, resulting
in any finger on the trigger hand in addition to the trigger finger being directly
below any portion of the action of the weapon when firing.
3. A forward pistol grip
4. A bayonet mount
5. A flash suppressor
6. A threaded barrel
7. A grenade launcher or flare launcher
8. Magazine Capacity over 10 rounds
✘A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has a fixed magazine with the ability to accept more
than ten rounds; or a semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than
thirty inches.

✘Any Semi-auto, centerfire rifle that has an ability to accept a magazine with a capacity
exceeding five (5) rounds is prohibited to any person under twenty-one years of age.
✘.22 Rimfire rifles that are semi-auto with ability to accept detachable magazines and any two
of the following features:
1. Pistol grip
2. Folding / telescoping stock
3. Bayonet mount
4. Flash suppressor
5. Threaded barrel
✘No upper or lower AR or AK receivers. -

It's a bolt action so yes. Bolt Action do not carry the same restrictions as their semi-automatic counterparts.

David, yes sir,this is CT legal. Bolt action rifles do not have the same restrictions as semi-auto's.
