Springfield Armory 1911 EMP 9mm 3" Two-Tone Finish, Cocobolo Grips, 9+1 *CA Compliant*
what is the difference in EMP's that states it is CA legal and one that isnt.

the biggest difference is that springfield submitted and paid for the CA model to be on the CA DOJ list unless Springfield has changed all Springfield 1911 have the internal locking system

This CA model has an "Internal Locking System" that differentiates it from the non CA approved model.
