Favorite carry ammo?

I prefer to purchase guns and test them with a few boxes of hollow points BEFORE I decide to defend myself with them. I am well practiced and a fair shot. But I am not willing to risk my life on anything less than the best possible round I can buy.

I have Winchester Rangers in my 40cal. Beretta PX4,Glaser power ball in my 9mm S&W 5906 and i use CCI Stingers in my 22lr Beretta tom cat. It works for me.

I have found that Hornady Critical Defense is my new favorite. More testing is needed before it makes the top of the list as my solid carry round but it jumped up to new favorite after the first round of testing.
