new to firearms

Im 20 years old, live in south west ohio and Im new to BUYING firearms. Im interested in buy a Sks. but i dont know if i can? see i know that i have to be 18 to buy a rifle, But what about those types of guns?????

I hate to see a post go unanswered, as several of mine have. As far as I know, there is no legal difference between a standard SKS and any other legal rifle, as far as purchasing one. It is NOT, NOT an "assault" weapon. There's no difference in operation or function, than say, a Ruger 10-22, except caliber and removable magazine. That's here in NC; you might want to check your local laws.
