I will agree that the Leica's are nice rangefinders, and so is the Swarovski, but the best bang for your buck is going to be a Nikon. The prostaff 550 is probably the best period for the money, and the riflehunter 550 is pretty darn nice too. I dont care for the bushnell range finders at all, they are misleading as far as reflective/non reflective yards go, and Leupold's have too many options. I've sold rangefinders and handeled them everyday, and i personally own the nikon prostaff 550, and I LOVE it. Just a hint, when you look at a rangefinder, nikon tells you the non-reflective yards in the name, ex: 550, 800, 1200...bushnell does not. This post is a little late, but I figured I could give some insight on the topic.

I don't shoot rifles anymore. Just too old to learn to shoot left handed. Doc says I can't play golf anymore (stupid game). So I use my Bushmills rangefinder for distances anyway. Distance would be all it's good for. Doubt if you have one anyway. Seems like most people who are into shooting firearms don't play golf. They have better things to do with their time. I say again...stupid game!! I was just learning after 6 yrs to play the game and starting to actually enjoy it. But a screwed up disc or 2 in my back and arthritis in my hip can't stop me from shooting my guns!! I even sold my old clubs for enough cash to buy a couple of inexpensive revolvers! :D
