This was a "Short Run" Edition but has not been in production since 2012. Armscor, Colt, Kimber, Rock Island and others have current 1911's in 38 Super. It is a beautiful pistol.

This was a limited run of a 1929 version. I doubt it will be back again.

That model along with the Black and gold version (I have a Black and Gold) was discontinued at least 7 years ago you can sometimes find them on the major auction sites like GB or AA
