Overall, I\'m not sure how I feel conclusively about this gun. I purchased it with the notion that I wanted a good and easy shooting plinking revolver. I think this revolver is really more of a training revolver for how to handle a snub nose. The biggest indication of this is the lack of single action with a hammer - which forces you to pull the stout but smooth trigger with each shot. On the note of a snub nose, this is a pretty challenging gun to shoot with accuracy.
I\'d say for plinking, you might be better off with a larger 22 revolver from ruger with both double and single.
You can\'t beat the small size and weight however, which is nice. On a scale of 1-10 for shooting fun, i\'d give it about a 5, i was expecting more of an 8 in this aspect.
Big take away, good 22 revolver, but not really all that fun to shoot due to the double action only and challenge of snub nose shooting.

Famous words, I bought this gun for my wife and now I want it for myself. There is no reason why I would buy this LCR 22. My wife likes Snubby Revolvers and the price of 22lr ammo. She doesn't mind a stout trigger pull(I read that it eases after a couple of bricks.) I shot 100 rounds and I had a lot of fun. She says she is willing to share.
