Anyone have any tips on field stripping this model? The owner's manual doesn't really detail the process and I don't want to damage the gun before I've even fired it! Thanks in advance!

My husband bought me a rifle for Mother's Dayfrom buds I am wanting a handgun I'm being told I have to get the rifle in my name before I can sell it. I called gun stores they're telling me there is no registration if it was bought before July and I can do whatever I want is this true why am I being told different things.
