Brandon, this rifle continues true Remington quality with the 700 Action. This will be a sub MOA rifle out of the box and even less once you dial in it's preferred load. Gunblast tells it like it is in his review here : youtube.com/watch?v=Wax3XaqWxD4 (The Remington 700 is still considered by many to be the most accurate out of the box rifle ever made and the standard by which all other bolt actions are measured by. The 5-R Bolt Action Rifle is built on the legendary tradition of the iconic Remington 700 and it does not disappoint, setting a new benchmark for accuracy and durability! It's chambered in 6.5mm Creedmoor and has a 24" stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist. Featuring tactical/target style hammer forged 5R rifling it will provide you with amazing shot to shot consistency. The Gen 2 barrel is fluted to dissipate heat more efficiently and threaded 5/8x24 TPI to accept your suppressor. The internal magazine holds 4 rounds of hard hitting ammunition and it has an H-S Precision synthetic stock with full length aluminum bedding. The rock solid receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and houses the X-Mark Pro Trigger that breaks like glass. It looks amazing with a sand/black webbing finish on the stock and a black Cerakote finish on the metal surfaces. Everything about the Remington 700 5-R Gen2 is all about long range precession).

some people have said that Remington quality has declined I don't find that and I have been buying Remington long guns since the early 1970s and have bought 2 in the last year I think some of the problem is that people want to compare the budget models with the older models like the wingmaster a lot of new model have hi teck finishes which just does not look as good as a nice blued firearm. Rant over this gun is a very good quality firearm it is a shooter not a wall hanger fit and finish is good to execellent I would have no qualms about the quality if I bought one
