the reviews are real by actual purchasers but to get actual reviews by serious shooters, I always go to the corresponding forums for the Manufacturer for in depth honest reviews by folks that don't hold anything back and are actual shooters, hunters, competitors. The reviews you see here are, as you are finding, more about the purchase aspects than the actual firearm.
