Is the finish blued? If black, what type of coating / finish?

this Series 70 Pistol has a Steel Frame/Slide with Blued Finish. It is "Standard" Blueing. (Blueing is a standard term but the finish is actually a matte Black) - Some better photos here : northwestfirearms.com/threads/colt-competition-9mm-1911.231219/

Matte black finish. I have a friend that has one and it is showing holster wear after 7 months of USPSA competition.It's a solid accurate pistol though. Well worth the money.
