Prices typically follow a trend of supply/demand whether up or down. A good rule of thumb is put on layaway(if available) when price is good(providing you really want the firearm) to lock in your low price.

Don't ya just hate that....been there. Best thing is to get a good idea of the price range you will pay...get the money together...then jump on the best price when it's there. Waiting rarely results in a better price. I love shopping at Bud's but what's funny to me is that everything I have purchased has gone up the day "after" I made my buy. Can't complain about that I guess. But when I wanted to make a second buy on ammo the price had jumped the next day. Although the price had been the same for months. When I asked about this, I was told "we don't control prices".....really?? The moral to the story is "If ya snooze - ya lose".
