  • I know Bond arms typically recommends 2-1/2 inch shotshells in a 3-inch barrel. Can I put 3-inch shotshells in a 3-inch barrel? It would help to be able to use both sizes of .410 shotshells. Thanks.

  • Allan, I would always follow the manufacturers recommendation for safety and warranty reasons. A 3" shell would literally be flush with the end of the barrel and the crimp would extend past the barrel after firing and the shot/slug would not ever contact the barrel. Possible? Maybe. Recommended? No.
