its a fake suppressor not a restricted Class 3 item which would require a lot of paperwork and a $200 tax stamp

Jerold, the pistol can be sold as a "Regular" pistol because the Faux Suppressor is just a hollow shell without the internal baffles of a real silencer. It serves no function for sound suppression so is not considered an NFA Class 3 item/firearm by the BATF.
