YES! I recently bought this rifle from here and YES it is drilled and tapped for scope base mounts. Although what i found is if you just put regular weaver bases on it the scope sits too far forward. This rifle works best with a Long Action Picatinny rail mount.

Samuel, This firearm is not drilled and tapped for mounting a scope. This firearm has a nice set of sights even though it is a short sight radius.
