I currently have a sig m400 on layaway and confirmed with customer service that it will ship to CO with no mag but I agree you should contact buds and ask

It is a against Buds Policy to remove a magazine they state that the gun must comply as it came from the factory however it never hurts to ask Contact customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

Larry, I have heard from others that some Buds Reps were doing this. I would ask directly at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am - 7pm Sun (7 days a week).
