  • Is this alloy as tough as the steel version?

  • Is the alloy of this gun made as strong or stronger than the blued steel one they also offer? And will this gun handle hot 357 rounds or will it crack the alloy frame? Need advice on which would be more durable this one, or the blued version?

  • John, EAA has tested the Alloy pistol to handle the same PSI/Proof Loads as the Blued version so no worries. I own the Blued version and it is built like a tank.

  • the steel version will be most durable for hot/heavy loads I will say a quality alloy gun can outlast a poor steel gun. in real life I doubt you will see much difference for carry I would go alloy for a pure range gun steel
