  • Isaiah - This pistol, and any revolver chambered in .357 mag, will work with .38 special ammunition, just fine. One can save a few $$$ by using the .38 for range/training use, plus the recoil is a bit less.

  • they use the same cylinder. this works on Rimed cases like the 38 special and the .357 the rim on the case hold it in place in the cylinder so the fact that a 38 is shorter doe not matter in the ,357 chamber
