  • Ronnie, you can run virtually any standard or +P 9mm ammunition. I recommend getting a box or two of some different brands to determine what is more accurate in your pistol then stocking up on the lot number. For target practice I run : budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/716006600/speer_lawman_9mm_115gr_tmj_50rds and for self desense I run : budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/56783/hornady_9mm_critical_defense_115_grain_critical_defense_tip (Both 115gr for the same point of impact).

  • Standard 9mm ammo is loaded for everything from the P-08 and P-38 up to the Glocks ans H&K's. Modern made pistols will handle +P ammo but may not function as well with the lower velocity 9mm. I have an H&K 9mm that does not like the standard stuff. The empty does not exit the chamber are due to a stronger spring for the +P ammo
