Yes, that's the purpose of the design with the back side of the holster being extended beyond the trigger guard portion. - that design and the texture of the material helps keep the holster in your pocket when the pistol is drawn.
Garrett, yes, it stays in your pocket after drawing your pistol. (This pocket holster will absolutely not move out of position in your front pocket. The inside is made of a slick pack cloth for a low friction draw).
