Hi there I was wondering if Rock island 51416 gi p rated?
Edgar, yes. This Rock Island Pistol is +P Rated. I own several and have been shooting Underwood, Buffalo Bore and Doubletap loads for years with no issues. A heavier recoil spring is a good idea if you plan to shoot lots of +P loads.
Edgar, yes these guns are safe for use with +P ammo. From the RIA/Armscor FAQ: "Yes all of our guns are +p ammo ready, but please use only when necessary." FAQ Link: https://armscor.com/support-center/faqs/#collapse11

Yes sir, it is +P rated. Keep in ind one should never feed any pistol a steady diet of +P, all the time, simply because it does cause some extra wear and tear even though the gun is +P rated. .
