Will the Sar 9 fit in a holster designed for a Glock 17?
Henry, it may or may not as these pistols are real close in design. However, I would choose a 100% guaranteed SAR 9 Holster of your choice here : crossbreedholsters.com/holster/sar-9
Henry, It would be a tight fit. the G17 is 7.33" long, 5.4 high. and 1.18" wide. This Sar 9 is 7.5" long, 5.5" high, and 1.4" wide. Maybe. I've never tried it. Put my Sar 9 in a full size Fobus that they market as fitting the Hi-Point 40 S&W and 45 ACP handguns. budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/49994/fobus+standard+evolution+paddle+holster+for+hi+point+45

I wouldn't trust a Glock Kydex holster to fit, as Kydex holsters are molded to the exact shape/size of the gun for which they re designed. You will find some 'universal' type holsters that would fit both, I am sure, some of which will fit well, and some of which, of course, will be too tight or too loose. Here is a Fobus designed specifically to fit the SAR 9, if this is your style of holster. fobus.com/holsters/sarsilmaz/964/swch-tr.html
