  • Jake, yes Sir. The "Parkerized" Finish can be engraved. Use 75 speed and 80 power for the engraving.

  • The engraving would go through the finish and leave bare steel exposed. Or in the white which with regular oiling will be just fine and often makes your pattern stand out. There are also company's that can re-do your Parkerized finish as well.

  • Jake - yes it can be engraved, but be advised the engraving may/will expose untreated metal. Parkerizing, like beauty, is pretty much just skin deep (as are the majority of firearm finishes. And you would get a lot of folks who wouldn't agree that cerakote is more durable than Parkerizing.

  • Yes you can engrave it and it can be stripped if you want to paint it with something more durable like cerakote.
