Quintin - AR pistols do not have a 'stock'. they have a 'brace'. the two are very different. Should you decide to simply change the brace on this pistol to a shoulder stock, you have just made it into a "Short Barreled rifle" - a felony, if you don't get the ATF tax stamp before you do it.

Quintin, only if you do the required NFA Paperwork and $200 Tax Stamp since a Shoulder Stock changes the classification from a Pistol to a SBR "Short Barreled Rifle".

You would need to do a lot of paperwork and got a NFA tax stamp to make it a SBR (short barrel rifle ) before you changed the stock without that paperwork it would be ILLEGAL to put a stock on and replace the "brace"
