I agree I was just giving info on dimensions & TSA info on Transporting Firearms and Ammunition. My choice be Bud's Item Number: 90044

These dimensions are correct (14.7"x10.6"x3.3" inside dimensions 15.5"x12.2"x3.6" outside dimensions) but this case is no where near "Airline Approved". I own a similar case and I could break in it in 2 seconds.

Thick foam padding and double padlock tabs are provided for the utmost in protective security.
(Transporting Firearms and Ammunition. You may transport unloaded firearms in a locked hard-sided container as checked baggage only. Declare the firearm and/or ammunition to the airline when checking your bag at the ticket counter. The container must completely secure the firearm from being accessed.)
