  • Ryan, unfortunately no- you would need to find a version that is already compliant in its factory configuration. This is directly from Buds' restrictions list "We will not ship firearms to a third party to be modified or changed in any way from manufactured
specifications. The firearm you purchase must be compliant AS IS from the manufacturer before we will ship." The rest of that document is here: budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
All that being said, I believe this model should be compliant although it looks like it is currently priced higher but does have a rebate going right now: budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/59403/s%26w+m%26p9+m20+semi+auto+handgun+9mm+luger+425%5c%22+barrel+10+ro

  • Hi Ryan, No we here in Ca are not allowed this firearm model regardless of magazine capacity unfortunately.

  • Ryan, if the "Magazine" were the only factor keeping this from being CA legal, some Buds reps have offered this. This is not the case as this model does not appear on the CA DOJ Approved Roster. So even without magazines it would still not be CA legal. CA Roster for S&W here : https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=Smith+%26+Wesson
