DPMS AP4 .223 Rem/5.56 NATO Semi Auto Rifle
I wanted to know if it was normal for the AP4 carbine to lose bluing on the very first round fired from it?

Wild, this is not common if it is on a non moving part of the rife's metal. This could very well be an insufficient blueing/coating and should be addressed by DPMS Customer Service at 1-800-578-3767 or by Email: info@dpmsinc.com --- Mon-Fri 9:00 AM -5:00 PM EST

it would depends on where the Bluing loss is if it is a moving part then yes you may see loss after on a few rounds I would contact DPMS and see what they say Phone: 1-800-578-3767
