  • So...six or seven rounds on the GP100?

  • I absolutely want the GP100! So, I was ready to buy the 4.2" barrel 357 6rd one, then I see a 7rd GP100, the sights and grip I like and all for almost the same price...why? is 7rds weaker? any ammo problems? I read those comments but seemed to be one or two utterances by some rabid guys. Should I go classic and stay at six?

  • mine is the 6 shot 4 inch barrel (old ) It is slightly stronger (more steel in the cylinder) than the 7 round one I also like the 6 round gun as speed loaders are easier to find. that being said they are both great guns and Ruger will stand behind their products
