Calvin, it is just .223 Sir. Muzzle Velocity is 3300 fps and Muzzle Energy is 1209 ft lbs (Case is stamped .223).

Calvin, Great 223 round not 5.56. Just bad description. This is one of my favorite hunting rounds here in Wisconsin. Stops coyotes in their tracks.

What a confusing way for them to list the cartridge specifications. The UPC code corresponds to "Fiocchi 223 Remington 50 Grain Hornady V-Max Polymer Tip w/ Plano Ammo Can". So not 5.56 NATO, just .223.
