Does it have a fixed mag?

Springfield Armory M1A LD STD 7.62 *NY* Walnut
The picture tells me it doesn't. I see that sweet little mag release, but I'm sure not all the pictures tell the full story. I don't live in NY, I'm looking at this one specifically for the front sight post location, because I'm a psycho about esthetics, and I hate threaded barrels for some reason.

Torin, the magazine is a 10rd detachable mag and the rifle has NM Iron Sights: 0.062" blade front and non-hooded rear aperture - Barrel is State regulated without threads and proprietary slotted non threaded muzzle brake.

The magazine is detachable, the rifle doesn't have a muzzle device, threaded barrel, or other banned features so that it can still keep a detachable magazine under NY law.

Torin, No threaded barrel on this firearm. The standard 10 round M1A detachable magazine ships with this SA M1A.
